Hi learners, I am Sonia Verma. I am an experienced and well-qualified ESL (English as a second language) Trainer. I am also the sole author of this website. “I am a focused, passionate, and results-driven professional. I have over 13+ years of experience in teaching English. My teaching methodology is all about focusing on the individual needs of each learner.
I have earned a Master’s degree in English Literature and Linguistics from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Earning credentials in Post Graduate Certificate in the Teaching of English (PGCTE) and Post Graduate Diploma in the Teaching of English (PGDTE) from the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU-Hyderabad, Telangana) have equipped me with the skills how I can make the English language learning journey interesting and result oriented for my learners.

I have been associated with the Chandigarh Group of Colleges in Jhanjeri Campus (Punjab) since 2015. Before this, I invested 5 years of my life in teaching at GGSCMT, Kharar (Punjab). In both my roles, I specialize in teaching Business English, Communication Skills, and English Language. I guide students via personality development classes also. While at CGC, Jhanjeri, I was honored with Best Academic Achievement Awards for the years 2016, 2018 and 2019. Additionally, GGSCMT also recognized me for my outstanding contribution to my students’ studies in the 2014-15 sessions.
After a couple of years teaching at various IELTS institutes, I have been dedicating my evening hours and weekend days to teaching IELTS since 2011. I have been helping students accomplish their dreams of taking IELTS. It has been a truly fulfilling and rewarding experience to see my learners succeed and speaking English confidently.
I am dutiful in assisting my learners to build their self-confidence and fluency in the English language provided that the learners understand and apply what I teach them during English Language learning sessions because I believe that your attitude towards learning the English language is a doorway to your success, skill development and opportunities.
